കേരള പോലീസിന് സംസ്ഥാന ഗുസ്തി, പെഞ്ചാക്ക് സില്ലറ്റ് മത്സരങ്ങളില്‍ സ്വര്‍ണ്ണം
സംസ്ഥാന സീനിയര്‍ ഗുസ്തി മത്സരം, സംസ്ഥാന പെഞ്ചാക്ക് സില്ലറ്റ് ചാമ്പ്യന്‍ഷിപ്പ് എന്നിവയില്‍ വിജയികളായ പോലീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരെ സംസ്ഥാന പോലീസ് മേധാവി അനില്‍ കാന്ത് അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു.
സീനിയര്‍ ഗുസ്തി മത്സരത്തില്‍ അഞ്ച് സ്വര്‍ണ്ണവും രണ്ട് വെള്ളിയും ഒരു വെങ്കലവുമാണ് കേരള പോലീസ് ടീം നേടിയത്. അബ്ദുള്‍ റഷീദ്, ജിതിന്‍ കുമാര്‍, ജയദേവന്‍, അശ്വിന്‍ പി.സി, അരുണ്‍.ബി ഗുപ്ത എന്നിവര്‍ സ്വര്‍ണ്ണമെഡലും ഷിബു.കെ.എസ്, അരുണ്‍.റ്റി.റ്റി എന്നിവര്‍ വെള്ളിമെഡലും നേടി. 86 കിലോഗ്രാം വിഭാഗത്തില്‍ ജിതിന്‍ കുമാറിനുതന്നെ വെങ്കലമെഡലും ലഭിച്ചു.
പെഞ്ചാക്ക് സില്ലറ്റ് മത്സരത്തില്‍ നോബിള്‍ തോമസ്, ബൈജു.ആര്‍.എല്‍, സുജിത്ത് എന്നിവര്‍ സ്വര്‍ണ്ണമെഡലും ഗോപന്‍, ഹരികൃഷ്ണന്‍ എന്നിവര്‍ വെള്ളിമെഡലും നേടി
ഇന്തൊനേഷ്യന്‍ കായിക ഇനമാണ് പെഞ്ചാക്ക് സില്ലറ്റ്. ഷാജ്.എസ്.കെ, ജുവാന്‍ സിറില്‍ എന്നിവരായിരുന്നു പരിശീലകര്‍.
